Walk-in Clinic for new fractures and injuries
Avoid high emergency room costs, added hospital fees and long waits
Injuries happen on the playground, during sports games and practices, and even in the backyard. No matter when or where an injury occurs, it's never convenient and always stressful. At Pediatric Orthopaedic, we understand how difficult it can be to get your child appropriate care quickly and at an affordable price.
The walk-in clinic, for all NEW and URGENT orthopaedic injuries, is available Monday through Friday from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m. Bring your child (ages 0-14) into the walk-in clinic to avoid ER costs and long waiting times. No pediatrician referral needed.
For all other orthopaedic appointments, please call us at 913-451-0000.
Your Visit to the Walk-in Clinic
When you arrive to our office, you'll fill out new patient registration forms. You can always fill the forms out in advance by downloading the new patient registration forms. Our reception area has plenty of seating, reading materials and fun toys for your children to play with while you complete any necessary paperwork.
You and your child will be escorted to an exam room where you will meet with one of our experienced team members. If your child has already had x-rays, they will review the digital files. If your child has not had x-rays, he or she will be examined first and if x-rays are necessary, we can complete them within our office.
After completing any necessary imaging along with an exam, we will provide you with a recommended course of action to help your child heal as best as possible. If your child needs follow-up care, we will schedule that appointment at check-out.
